Peaceful Protests
Concert for the First Amendment and Clearing Up Confusion
Making sure our community has accurate information for June 14th.
The No Kings Coalition encouraged people to come together in their communities and host watch parties for the Concert for the First Amendment. These gatherings are intended to be opportunities for neighbors, friends, and supporters to connect and participate together.
Unfortunately, a media outlet mistakenly reported this event as a No Kings protest. As that information was shared and reposted, it led to understandable confusion about the activities planned for June 14th.
To clarify, the event being promoted by the No Kings Coalition is a community watch party for the Concert for the First Amendment, not a protest. We appreciate everyone helping to share accurate information and keep our community informed.
